Gerrard and Lampard

Steven Gerrard has called for Frank Lampard to be the next manager to find themselves out of a job. The Liverpool legend was sacked by Aston Villa on Thursday following a poor start to the season.

“Frank should go next,” Gerrard told Soccer on Sunday. “Nobody likes to see a manager sacked, but he’s been at least as shite as me. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, to be fair. It’s not my place to tell Everton how to run their club, but I’d sack Frank and hire someone who has a Scooby Doo about coaching.”

“Yeah of course, being sacked isn’t fun,” said the 42 year-old. “But nobody should have to live in a place like Birmingham. The locals are disturbing, if I’m honest. Always undressing you with their eyes and growling.”

“I think the government could be doing more to warn people about Birmingham,” he added.
