Roy Keane has been questioned by detectives from the Greater Glasgow police over the disappearance of Eddie Howe. The English football manager failed to arrive for a scheduled meeting with Celtic Football Club on Saturday..
“Hopefully the lad turns up,” Keane told Soccer on Sunday. “I wouldn’t hold my breath, but we see this all the time. Dismembered bodies falling into the Clyde in a suitcase and being swept out to sea. I just hope Celtic have a plan B, because I’d be fairly confident Eddie won’t turn up.”
“Me?” said the Irishman when asked if he is interested himself in the Celtic vacancy. “I’ve never thought about it, but I’d be willing to talk with the club. And no disrespect to Eddie’s carcass, but I’d actually turn up for the meeting.”
“You need that reliability in football,” added Keane.
