Klopp and Haaland

Jürgen Klopp has revealed his plan to deal with goal-scoring phenomenon Erling Haaland when Liverpool welcome City to Anfield on Sunday. The Norwegian has been in scintillating form, scoring 15 goals in 9 league games.

Legs

“For sure, we will break his legs,” Klopp told Soccer on Sunday. “People might say this is bending the rules or whatever, but there are not so many options to stop Haaland. If we can break the boy’s legs, this will slow him down with surgeries and all these kinds of things.”

“We have a plan,” said the German. “Thiago will try to break Haaland’s legs with a horror lunge straight from tip-off. He practiced on Curtis and Ox this morning and they now have two fractured Tibias each. Ox’s Fibula also came through his skin, so the dry runs were a big success.”

“Of course, Pep will not be happy,” he added. “But unless he wishes to wake up in the same ward as Erling, the baldy spoofer will remain calm.”
