Frank Lampard has vowed to help Everton achieve promotion to the Premier League after they’re relegated this May. The club sit 1 point above the drop zone after being hammered 5 – 0 by Spurs.

“No, I won’t walk away when we’re shat out of the Premier League down into the Champo,” Lampard told Soccer on Sunday. “People say, ‘You walked away from Derby when you lost a promotion playoff, you spiky-haired cockney cunt.’ But there’s no need for that kind of language, to be fair. I think that shows a lack of class.”
“I’ll get Everton out of the Champo one way or the other,” said the Londoner. “Whether that’s promotion back into the Premier League or being shat down into League One, the fans have my word. The one thing we won’t do is hang about.”
“I’d be lying if I said Everton can’t be relegated into League Two,” he added. “The moment you think you’re too big to be shat down three leagues, you lose that half a yard of aggression.”
