David Moyes is continuing to work from home following his positive test for Covid-19 on Tuesday evening. The Scot has been conducting training sessions from his London home via Zoom.
“It’s strange having the gaffer on a laptop,” Declan Rice told Soccer on Sunday. “But after a while, you just close the lid if he’s going off on one. Most of the lads have shut the lid on him. Some might say it’s disrespectful, but that’s what laptop lids are for, to be fair.”
“The gaffer being there means you have to stay sharp,” said the midfielder. “Otherwise you’ll trip over his power cable. That’s what happened to Jack Wilshere, and now he’s facing another 6 years on the treatment table.”
“Water off a duck’s back to Jack,” added Rice.
