Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has defended his policy of giving handjobs to VAR officials before Premier League matches. UTD were awarded a penalty by VAR after the final whistle of their 3 – 2 win over Brighton.

Handjobs

Solskjaer presser“No, I won’t change,” Solskjaer told Soccer on Sunday. “Nipping into the VAR gantry an hour before kick-off and dishing out a few handjobs is common sense. God knows my missus isn’t happy about it, but she understands that it’s important.”

“The FA guidelines on handjobs are crystal clear,” said the Norwegian. “So long as there’s consent, you can tug away at officials. If the guidelines change, then I’ll keep my hands to myself. No problem.”

“Can someone pass me that hand lotion?” added Solskjaer. “We’ve a game on Wednesday.”
