Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confidently predicted that Manchester UTD will end their 8 year wait for a 21st top division title this season. UTD will draw level with leaders Liverpool should they win their game in hand.
“It’s not time to celebrate,” Solskjaer told Soccer on Sunday. “But on recent form, you’d have to say the league is in the bag. The only question is whether we’ll hoover up all the other piddle and crap, and turn it into some kind of quadruple. But as I say, I’m just relieved to have gotten the league monkey off our back this May.”
“We can’t rest on our laurels,” said the Norwegian. “Just because the league is won, it doesn’t mean the likes of Liverpool will stay shite. They’ll be looking down from above us in the table and thinking, ‘How do we catch them?'”
“Sir Ole Gunnar Solskjaer,” he added. “Has a ring to it. Can someone check if herself knights Norwegians?”
