Republic of Ireland boss Stephen Kenny has slammed his team after a seventh consecutive game without a goal. Ireland have scored just once since Kenny took charge of the national side.
“Cross-eyed cunts,” Kenny told Soccer on Sunday. “You’ll have to pardon my language, but I’m frustrated. Tactics, formations, possession — none of that matters a damn if the lads can’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo. I’m fuming with them.”
“I don’t like to call players cunts,” said the Dubliner. “I do apologise for that. But these cunts are going to get me sacked. Just stick the ball in the net — how hard is that? Swing your foot at it, in the general direction of the net.”
“It’s not rocket science,” he added.
